Psychological Support Services was founded in 2006 and driven by the basis of one simple principle: that early intervention is crucial to the future prospects of all individuals. Children learn foundational skills in early childhood (birth to eight years). This growth period is critical across all areas of development. Deficits or delays addressed at this early stage will have the highest probability of correction than at any other time in the child's lifespan. Our aim is to maximize the potential within each child to increase the likelihood of a full, healthy, and happy life.
Our services are delivered by highly trained staff who meet standards of professional and ethical conduct as set forth by Psychological Support Services. Our staff include a Ph.D. level licensed psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) who is credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Psychological Support Services provides the full range of psychological, behavioral, and educational services to clients including evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. We also offer consultation, training, supervision, and coaching to parents, teachers, graduate students, and other professionals.
Psychological Support Services primarily services school-aged children (ages 3 to 22) with various exceptionalities. As mentioned above, we also offer consultation, training, supervision, and coaching to parents, teachers, graduate students, and other professionals. Our main office is located in Warwick, Rhode Island where we make our full range of services readily available. However, we do offer limited services to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Florida residents.
