		Training is offered on a variety of topics to further assist parents, educators, and others in understanding the child and the different intervention approaches available. We encourage parents to become active participants in their child's treatment plan so that they may learn how to interact with their child in a manner conducive to treatment and so that skill generalization can occur. Training also allows the parent, teacher, or other professional to continue implementing appropriate strategies once treatment has ended. If desired, a PSS staff member can provide continued supervisory and/or consultative services.
